Description: This pattern is published in support of Avalon Springs Farm, Pointe Shoes yarn. Pointe Shoes yarn is a striking and unique bulky weight yarn. The idea behind creating a cowl pattern for it was that, if you are going to use an eye catching base, you want a project at eye level. Our Storming the Castle Ladder cowl gets its name from the open lacy look with a ladder like rungs that repeat throughout. It is a practical cowl too, it is long enough to be worn in one loop – necklace style; or doubled into two loops and worn turtle neck style.
About the Designer: The designer is Kathleen Lopez of CraicPot Woolworks. Kathleen as won awards for her knitting and crochet skills, she is a knitting, crochet, and all around fiber arts instructor, and leads the Montgomery County Fiber Arts 4-H group. She has been designing for a number of years. And, we love her work!
