Description: The fiber is shorn here. Then skirted, washed and dyed by Karen. It is made into core spun at Gurdy Run Woolen Mill. This process is done by carding the fleeces together into a fluffy long tube of roving and then the alighed fibers are wrapped around a structural core. The result is something very sturdy and strong, yet very squeezable and somewhat squishy.
This product is easily suitable for crafts, weaving, rugs, baskets, chair mats, wall art and more.
