Description: The Castle Walls pattern is for a unisex vest (the pattern is generally one size fits most, but includes some easy to do size adjustments). The knit pattern designed for the Celtic Yarn Knot collection specifically which is three yarns of the same weight. Our Celtic Yarn Knot collection is made up of three different yarn bases all dyed together; this creates a unique opportunity to see the fun textural differences of the three specialty yarns rather than different stitches or colors in the finished piece.
About the designer: The designer is Linda Minnick of MidValley Fibers. She has been knitting and doing all things fiber and fabric her whole life, including teaching and working at several yarn shops and several yarn mills. Linda is local to us in mid-Maryland and has been a wonderful friend and fiber inspiration to us here at Avalon Springs Farm.
Skill Level: The pattern is a simple knit with the challenge only coming from changing yarns. An excellent choice for a beginner knitter as the knitting is quick and easy, and it allows the new knitter to gain experience creating with different yarns.
