Description & important note:

We are not licensed, certified or educated in any specific way with regard to our farm.  We have been raising and breeding Angora and Colored Angora Goats for more than two decades in a geographical area not native to this breed, thus we do get regular requests to teach about what we do.  We are not liable, we accept no causality nor connection to participants past, present, or future connections or experiences with fiber farming or any aspect of our farm and business.

Participants experiences here will be an exposure to our love of what we do, our own observances of what we feel is important, and a bit of narrative of how we got to where we are.

This class is NOT designed to make a novice, or no-experience person into a farmer or breeder of goats.

Skill & age level needed:

This activity is okay for a wide age range from children through adults.  Our suggested age  would be 10+ (minors will need an accompanying adult).  Participants will need to be able to walk about independently on our grassy pasture/paddock area.  Participants will need to have some comfort level with being around animals, and specifically agricultural animals, non-domesticated animals.  Participants will be expected and required to follow directions for their own safety and those of the animals.
