The Farm Chick Sweet Sale came about from my connection to Dalis of Dancing Leaf Farm. I had been chatting with another yarn dye studio, Lisa of Flying Goat Farm about opening up for Valentine’s Day. That’s when it clicked – Dalis mentioned that she has been opening up her shop on Valentine’s Day for years. So, Lisa and I joined in this year. We all had slightly different open days and hours; we will try to align that for next year. But, it was a fun “maiden voyage” event for me.
We all had things on sale, and we all did a special of 14% off to connect to February 14th. Every one also had special little treats and chocolates out. I also served flavored coffee, cookies, and bottled water. I was open Friday, Saturday and Sunday fro Noon to 4pm. I also had a few guests contact me and come before and after. This was fine, as I’m always open by appointment.
