This year the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival has gone virtual. Everyone will most definitely miss each other the cider, the yarn, the parade of amazing knitwear, the yarn, the maple candy, the yarn, and more yarn! Giggles! I know I will. In the meantime, here is what is going on for this year –
There are two main places to be for the show: the traditional New York Sheep and Wool Festival website, and the new “official” Facebook business page that ends in “official”. On the website you can register to be a customer at the show, this will cost $5, and then you get a special *hub* that organizes your four days of classes, shows, competitions, fleece shopping, kids activites, events and of course yarn shopping. Within the yarn shopping it gives you access to all the vendor zoom and virtual booth features. So, I think the ticket seems very worth it.
For the show here at Avalon Springs Farm:
- Our web store will be open 24/7 as always.
- Our virtual booth at the festival will be open 10 am till 5 pm EST, Thursday through Sunday.
- We will participate in the zoom booth feature. Our zoom link is open and folks drop in as they like.
- We will participate in the 1 to 1 meetings with clients as we receive inquiries for them.
- We have a small Rhinebeck surprise swag we will put in your bag with purchas.
- We are also doing our own special Rhinebeck colors for the show, see the Rhinebeck tab in our web store.
Always feel free to use the Contact Us button on our website if you have any questions about the show or our participation in the show. We know these are all new experiences for everyone, us included, but we are eager to please and have you have a smooth successful experience with us!
Wishing everyone great health and happy knitting! Enjoy the show!
